-
To provide answers to current turf management problems through research
and related activities.
-
To keep turf professionals informed through outreach and extension activities.
-
To produce students who have a competitive advantage in the job market
because of their enhanced understanding of turf management.
Turfgrass Building Fund
The turfgrass research facility at the South Farm is in need of a facelift.
Recently, we started raising money for the new turfgrass research building.
The new building will be a state-of-the-art turfgrass teaching
and research facility that will include a library, offices, conference
rooms, diagnostics wet labs, and greenhouse. The building will be used
by students, golf course superintendents, sports field managers, lawn care
operators, master gardner, and homeowners for educational programs. We are well on
our way to reaching our goal and there are additional naming opportunities for your donation.
