Brad Fresenburg inspects the Kentucky bluegrass turf at Faurot Field. Fresenburg, who supervises the MU South Farm Turf Research Center, played a key role in the conversion of Faurot from Omniturf to grass.
The "big roll" lays sod like a carpet on MU's Faurot Field. Big roll is three and one-third feet wide and fifty feet long, which makes installation much faster compared to using the one-half feet by three feet sod pieces.
